STRANGELAND is a character-based long-form improv show that is highly physical, sometimes fantastical, and always from the heart. With a single suggestion from the audience, we will develop 3 distinct characters and take a tour into each of their lives, where we may meet co-workers, family members or perhaps just observe a conversation with the garbage guy.
Created by Abby, René and Evan, Strangeland was born out of the fact that we are 3 character actors who are “strangers living in a strange land”. We aim to use a pinch of our homeland, America, and a dash of our adopted land, Germany, to make a whole new kind of recipe.
After the premier of Strangeland, we welcome improvisation teams for an Open Jam. Each team will get to do a 15-minute set of their choosing, so please arrive early to sign your team up!
This evening’s performance is done in partnership with FEST and the FEST Academy.
